Restoring from backup

backup δεν έχουμε?

αν γνωριζει να με βοηθησει κανεις ισως κατι να κανουμε

το θεμα ειναι οτι δεν γνωριζω αν οταν κανουμε restore, το φορουμ ερθει σε κατασταση ιδια με αυτη του backup, εξαφανιζοντας τα ποστ που εγιναν απο εκεινη τη στιγμη και μετα

οποτε δεν το ρισκαρω τοσο να χασω τοσα ποστ για μερικα βιντεο του patrick που βρισκονται ανα πασα στιγμη

Όταν κάνεις restore, εξαφανίζονται τα post που έγιναν μετά, οπότε άστο Anzac, δεν αξίζει...!

Γιαννη εσυ μιλας για αυτο που θελω και εγω , αλλα φοβαμε πως δεν γινεται και τοτε το φορουμ θα γινει ιδιο ακριβως με οτι εχει το backup αρχειο

αν καταλαβατε τελικα τι γινεται να μου πειτε και εμενα!

is there a tool i can easily manage an .sql file database backup ? so as i find the topic i need and run it again in my sql ?

Please upload the backup dump file in your home/ and provide us with the database name you want to restore from that backup we will do it for you.

are we going to lose something after doing that? meaning after restoring the database will still have the data's beyond that date ? or it will be exactely as the backup database?

well, actually i dont need to restore the whole DB but a very small part of it

As I have mnetioned you the dump will restore the all DB. If there are only some tebles you want to update than please upload that tables in your account and provde s with the database name for that tables we will do it for you.

i still dont understand if the data that was placed in my database after the backup, will still be in place after you restore my 5day back backup.

We are not the developers of your forum software, so we can not help you on it. You will need contact the developers/vendor of the software on how to do a partial update.

Χάθηκε κάτι από την DB? Είαι απαραίτητο το restore man?

Σαν να τους έμπλεξες τα μπούτια μου φάνηκε. Και ζητάνε το backup για να κάνου το function αυτοί.......(Του πλαισίου είναι???ΧΙΧΙΧΙΧΙΧΙΧΙΧΙ)

ΑΝ δεν λείπει κάποιο σημαντικό κομμάτι των χρηστών...drop it man

ρε κωστα τι λες?
ειπαμε εσβυσα την ενοτητα των video του patrick

οποτε θελω να κανω restore μονο αυτο
και τους ρωταω αν υπαρχει καποιο προγραμμα που να διαχειριζεται αρχεια .sql οπως ειναι το backup μας, το οποιο ασυμπιεστο ειναι 210ΜΒ

και αυτοι αρχισανε τα δικα τους
δωστε μας το αρχειο να το κανουμε εμεις κτλ κτλ....

...και μετα να ψαχνουμε το υπολοιπο φορουμ αντι για μια χαμενη ενοτητα αλλες τοσες....

Δεν τρέχει και τίποτα για τα λινκς του Πάτρικ, μπορούμε να ξαναβάλουμε καινούρια!
Είχε αρκετά ωραία πράγματα μέσα, οκ, αλλά και πάλι αξίζει τον κόπο?
Πόσες ημέρες θέλεις για να κάνεις όλη την διαδικασία?
Μπορείς να βρείς την λίστα με ημερομηνία και να σώσεις απο εκεί και μετά αυτά που σου λείπουν απο το προηγούμενο μπακάπ.
Μετά βάλτα όλα μαζί και δεν νομίζω να τρέχει τίποτα...

.........και πάλι είναι μόνο 5-6 ώρες να ξαναβάλουμε διάφορα ενδιαφέροντα βίντεο σε μια ανακοίνωση του Patricks.
Βέβαια τα σχόλια είναι που έχουν σημασία αλλά αν κάνεις restore θα χαθούν πολλά περισσότερα πράγματα από αυτά που θα ανακτηθούν...

Ένα λάθος κουμπί πάτησες...δεν θα σου πάρουμε και το κεφάλι!!

Τίμο θα πρέπει να επικοινωνήσεις με τα άτομα της PhPBB για να βρεις την λύση.
Μίλησα με ένα φίλο μου που δουλεύει σε εταιρεία hosting και μου είπε πως όταν κάνουνε restore μια βάση της PHP κάνουν full.
Aν θες να κάνεις επιλεκτικό είναι μπλέξιμο και πρέπει να ανοίξεις το αρχείο .dhlk και να περάσεις τα κομμάτια που θες μέσω του phpmyadmin.
Γι' αυτό λοιπόν άστο και δεν πειράζει. Λες και δεν ξέρουμε που θα τα βρούμε τα βίντεο.
